Company Description

BRDC is a municipally affiliated corporation. It operates at arms length from the municipality, and provides regular progress and financial reports to Council. BRDC financial statements are and is incorporated in the municipal financial statements annually and subject to audit.

BRDC is the primary resource in executing activities and initiatives identified in community economic development strategies endorsed by Council of the Town of Blind River. In addition to carrying out projects and activities in support of community economic development, the BRDC offers a variety of services of interest to business including:

- community data and profile resources (demographics, economic make-up, labour profile, educational resources, commercial and industrial land listings, infrastructure, financial assistance sources and so on).
- access to a network of business development resources and agencies.
