New Year's Resolution: become UL pilot in 2015! Looking for some advice though...I had a private fixed wing license 20+ years ago when in college, but couldn't afford to keep it up. Log book might show ~ 50 hours of C-152 time! Now my 10-year-old son is showing an interest in aviation and I figure an ultralight might be the way to go. I'm in Summerland, BC and it looks like a license is possible after 10 hours of instruction. After license, I'll then be in the market for a 2-seater. Any recommendations for something cheap and fun? Where to look? What does LSA mean? Hoping to find neighbor with landing strip and tie-downs. Thanks! 2015 is looking up!
